The programme of the Faculty of Medicine has won the right to organize the Debrecen University Symposium 2012.
The University of Debrecen organizes the symposium for the first time, with the intent of creating a tradition. The institute wishes to begin a series of conferences that may enhance the recognition of our city and university, even in the international scientific scenes.
The theme of the conference is ’Heart and Brain and Blood’ and deals with the diseases of the brain and the cardiovascular system.
Acknowledged presenters will speak in 4 sessions, on 8-9 June 2012. The presentations can be followed from the internet, and there will be 6 places for video-conference.
The symposium will be a part of the Centenary programmes, which are held on the apropos of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Hungarian Royal University, the predecessor of the University of Debrecen.
