Though it’s winter time, the following exhibition is the part of Autumn in Debrecen series of programs.
György Farkas was born in Debrecen and studied in the Hungarian Academy of Arts. With the help of a scholarship of Debrecen, he also attended the Julian Academy in Paris.
He founded a graphic school and was the head of the Department of Visual Aesthetics of the National Institute for Pedagogy.
His works represent the abstract and cubism. He made collages with tempera and oil paints.
Visitors can see the exhibition in Bényei Árpád Hall of Kölcsey Center. The admission is free of charge.
Opening hours: from 10 am to 7 pm every day, except Monday.
